Evan Mashigian, D.O. Forensic Psychiatrist
Dr. Evan Mashigian is dual board-certified in General Psychiatry and Forensic Psychiatry. He completed both his general psychiatry residency and forensic psychiatry fellowship at Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences. He currently serves as an Attending Psychiatrist within the general psychiatry residency program at John Peter Smith Health Network in Fort Worth, Texas, where he is actively involved in the education of medical students, advanced practice providers, and psychiatry residents, with a focus on inpatient and forensic psychiatry. Dr. Mashigian also holds an appointment as Assistant Clinical Professor of Psychiatry, contributing to the training of learners across multiple affiliated medical schools.
Mash Forensics PLLC is based in Frisco, Texas, in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Dr. Mashigian is a forensic psychiatrist and expert witness. He is licensed in Texas, Oklahoma, and Arkansas and takes criminal and civil cases in all three states.
Consultation for Attorneys
Dr. Mashigian consults with attorneys on cases that involve psychiatric evidence. He reviews medical and psychiatric records, other experts' reports, and testimony. He compares them with professional standards and the psychiatric literature. He consults for both sides in criminal and civil cases, and his findings do not depend on which side asks.
